Career
Mirco began his professional ice hockey career as a junior player with the Kloten Flyers from 2010 to 2012. He appeared in seven games for the National League A during the 2011-12 season. In the 2012 CHL import draft, he was taken 11th overall by the Everett Silvertips. He was a member of the club for two seasons. He played with the Worcester Sharks of the American Hockey League (AHL) in 2013-14. In 2011, he made his international debut. Mirco made his debut for the Swiss Under-18 Team in the IH18 competition in 2011, finishing seventh. He has represented his country several times.
On September 22, 2013, Mirco was signed by the San Jose Sharks of the National Hockey League (NHL). The San Jose Sharks selected Mirco in the first round, 18th overall, in the 2013 NHL Entry Draft. He returned to the Everett Silvertips after signing a three-year entry-level deal with the team. Due to injury, he did not appear in any preseason games with the Sharks in 2013. Miller was a member of the Worcester Sharks until the 2014–2015 season when he moved to the San Jose Barracuda of the American Hockey League (AHL). In the 2015-16 season, he rejoined the San Jose Sharks. He is still a member of the San Jose Sharks. Despite his young age, he had a very successful professional career as an ice hockey player.
