Missing Katy Perry songwriter found ‘alive,’ friend says

The model and songwriter who co-wrote Katy Perry’s “Walking on Air” appears to have been found “safe” nearly four months after she first went missing, a friend said.

Camela Leierth-Segura, 48, was last seen in Beverly Hills on June 29, after being kicked out of her rental home, a missing persons report issued over the summer said.

The hit-maker was found alive in California on Friday morning, Cecilia Foss, a Swedish friend, told The Independent.

“He was found a few hours ago, so he is safe now. The family has asked for privacy and the police [haven’t] didn’t give me any more details, so I just know he’s been found so far,” Foss said.

The missing persons investigation has also been closed, the Beverly Hills Police Department told the outlet.

BHPD did not immediately respond to The Post’s request to confirm the report.

Foss’ comments came after a since-deleted Facebook post from Leierth-Segura’a another friend, Liz Montgomery, appeared to break the news, US Sun reported.

“I just wanted to share that my friend Camela has been found and is safe,” the post said.

“I can’t offer any other details other than that, but I want to thank everyone for all of your support. We wouldn’t have found it without you. Thank you!!!”

Montgomery reported Leierth-Segura missing in July after her family in Sweden was unable to contact her.

The model and the actor’s elderly cat were also missing, police said at the time.

She later told the US Sun that Leierth-Segura’s income came from live music, modeling and acting — all of which declined during the COVID-19 pandemic.

“I know he is facing a challenging time […] but nobody realized that level, because he had a lot of pride and he was very persistent about things like that,” Montgomery said.
