A Missouri teenager is accused of shooting a man at least 14 times and then hiding his body in an air mattress.
Jackson Pierce, 18, is charged with murder for shooting 23-year-old Dalton Coleman during an argument at a home in St. Peters on Monday evening, a probable cause affidavit obtained by The Post revealed.
Pierce and Coleman spent time together Monday along with a third person, who was not named, who was listed as a witness, and an unnamed juvenile, according to court documents.
The witness finally left the three of them at St. Peters that evening, but later received a call from Pierce who claimed that Coleman was exhibiting “erratic behavior” and asking for “unknown items.”
The witness then tried to calm the two men down, and asked Pierce to move some “valuables, including firearms” from the kitchen to the bedroom, the affidavit said.
Minutes later, Pierce called the witness back, and allegedly confessed to shooting and killing Coleman.

A SWAT unit later responded to the home, and arrested Pierce and the teenager at the scene.
“Dog, I should call the police myself, I should call the police myself, bro…I’m an idiot,” Pierce said as he sat in the police car.
Authorities eventually used a drone to search the interior of the home, and found Coleman’s body inside “a roll-up air mattress that had been tied tightly and wrapped with electrical cord in an upstairs bedroom closet,” the affidavit said. .
“Then it was found that victim 1’s body was placed in an air mattress with a white plastic garbage bag tied to his head with an electric cord cut from [a] nearby lights,” the post added.
During an interview with police, Pierce admitted that he and the juvenile tried to clean up evidence of the shooting “using towels and dish soap on the carpet.”
Preliminary autopsy results confirmed that Coleman died from about 15 gunshot wounds to his abdomen, arms and face, authorities said.
Pierce now faces charges of second-degree murder, armed criminal action, and tampering with physical evidence, court documents reveal.
He remains in jail on a $1 million cash-only bond.
The juvenile is also still in custody.
Pierce’s next bond hearing is set for Jan. 17.
