During the show Superstar Singers Season 2 in 2022, Mohammad Faiz’s family member revealed that he started his musical training from his maternal grandfather, Ustad Shakur Khan, at the age of eight. Mohammad Faiz started participating in several Indian singing reality shows from a young age. In 2018, he participated in Love Me India Kid where he was one of the finalists and was selected as the winner of the West Zone. Indian singers Guru Randhawa, Neha Bhasin, and Himesh Reshammiya are the judges of this show. The following year, he was one of the contestants in Zee TV’s Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Lil Champs. At the end of the show, he was chosen as the first runner-up of the show. In 2022, he was the winner of Superstar Singer Season 2, which aired on Sony TV.
