In an interview, he talked about his mother and said,
Even after almost three years, I still feel the pain of losing him. In 2019, he died of a heart attack. I was with him only the day before because he was not well. But since I had a work commitment, I had to go back to the sets. The next day I got a call saying he had passed away, so I rushed to the airport, but there was no flight for several hours to Chandigarh. I remember being in a state of shock and having to spend a long time at the airport until I got my flight. Seeing the mother and child at the airport, I kept crying. I stayed in my hometown Malerkota in Punjab for a month after that. That’s when my sister told me to go back to Mumbai and go back to work. It’s not easy, but I’m trying”.

Mohammad Nazim started his career with the StarPlus television show Shaurya Aur Suhani (2009). In 2010, he appeared in the Hindi television show Saath Nibhaana Saathiya (2010) where he played the lead role of Ahem Parag Modi.

In an interview, she talked about her role in the television show and said,
When I signed Saath Nibhana Saathiya, I never expected it to do so well. Naturally, the show was held at 7pm! I really enjoy being Ahem, actually the character isn’t bad at all but the situation makes him lose his temper. I love it when I hear from the audience that they like me on the show. Recently Devoleena Bhattacharjee replaced Jiaa Manek for the role of Gopi. I was very sad when I found out that Jiaa was out of the show but the industry is such that someone has to carry on. Devoleena is a very dedicated and humble person and I love working with her.”

I also modeled for various print advertisements and since then, I was offered a negative role in Star Plus Shaurya Aur Suhani. I went to Mumbai and after this show, I struggled for a year and did shows like CID and Aahat. But all this time, I was waiting for a fat character and that’s when Saath Nibhana Saathiya happened.”

Yes, I’ve been offered the show before. The first time Bigg Boss was offered to me right after Saath Nibhaana Saathiya ended, but I couldn’t do it that year because my sister’s wedding was happening at the same time. I was again offered the show the next year, but I couldn’t do it. Then I was offered a show in 2019, I did Bahu Begam and I couldn’t do the show that year too, but I’m glad it didn’t happen that year because I lost my mother that year. And if I am in the Bigg Boss house, it will always affect me that I could not spend the last days with my mother.
- In 2020, Mohammad Nazim became a victim of credit card fraud and lost Rs 25,000. He talked about this in an interview and said,
At first I got a transaction message on my phone, which I didn’t pay much attention to. After a day, I got two messages in a row from the bank about online shopping when I did nothing. This raises doubts and I have blocked my credit card. The banker has assured me that I will get my money back.”
