Mohit was born on 4 April 1986 (age 37; in 2023) in Delhi, India. He was inspired by his brother, Himmanshoo Ashok Malhotra, who is also an actor. It was only after she saw her brother on screen that she became interested in acting and dancing. After achieving huge popularity with the reality show, MTV Splitsvilla Season 2, she started receiving offers from the Hindi television industry. He started his career on television with the TV series “Mitwa Phool Kamal Ke.” Since then, Mohit has not looked back.

Mohit Malhotra earned his Bachelor’s degree in Business Management from Delhi University, New Delhi. He also followed a specialized course in International Business from the University of California, Berkeley, California. In 2009, he participated in season 2 of the MTV reality show, MTV Splitsvilla; where he was the first runner-up.
