He did his schooling from Mumbai Children’s Academy and went to Thakur Polytechnic College to pursue Engineering. After that, he studied Bachelor of Management Studies (BMS) from Mithibai College, Mumbai. Mohsin is a shy and studious child. He topped his class in applied electronics and scored 80% in engineering. Although he never thought of becoming an actor, he always wanted to do something related to the world of entertainment. Mohsin Khan started his career in 2014 as an assistant director with the film “Koyelaanchal.” He made his acting debut in 2014 playing the role of ‘Jignesh’ in UTV Bindass’ show “Love by Chance.” After that, she did a small role in the serial “Meri Aashiqui Tum Se Hi.” He played the role of ‘Ritesh’ in the Stars Plus series “Nisha Aur Uske Cousins.”

In 2016, Mohsin got into controversy for walking out of the sets of his show “Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai” and stopping the shoot, without giving any prior notice to the makers. Reportedly, he also did not show up for the shoot the next day and even his phone could not be reached. Apparently, Mohsin was annoyed with the producer of the show.

We shot for a fight sequence where we had to go into the mud. So, the vanity part of the van that I prepared does not have a bathroom for me to shower and it is located on the side of the van. That’s why I asked the production to give me a part with a bath. I never claimed a one door vanity van. In fact, today too I share my pride with Shivangi. All I can say is that someone is trying to distract from our hard work and prove us unprofessional.”
- During the interview, Mohsin revealed that he used to try to turn on the gas to escape from hurting his eyes in his childhood and since then, he was very afraid to cook.
