Moment Hamas terrorists crawl on floor to fire at Israeli soldiers before being killed by airstrike

Hamas fighters can be seen crawling on the floor in northern Gaza moments before they are taken out by airstrikes in a rare close-up look at terrorist activity.

The Israel Defense Forces have released chilling video showing a group of Hamas gunmen hovering inside a building in Jabaliya, which has seen some of the fiercest fighting in northern Gaza.

The gunmen were preparing to attack Israeli tanks as they slowly made their way towards the window, with one of them seen holding an armed RPG launcher. They will open fire on the advancing IDF Nahal Brigade combat forces.

The video then cuts to the exterior of the building, which is engulfed in smoke as gunfire is heard ringing out in the fierce battle.

The IDF said the terrorists also managed to fire an anti-tank missile at Israeli troops, which cornered the man into a building.

The Hamas members were then quickly killed in airstrikes by remote aircraft operated by the IDF, the military said.

Follow-up video of the fighting in the north also showed the moment a plane attacked a Hamas gunman walking in the streets of Gaza.

Hamas operatives were seen walking around with weapons in the back as the plane unleashed explosives that destroyed the gunmen, leaving only ash and debris in its wake.

A camera was found on the gunman, which had footage from inside the Jabaliya building incident, the IDF said.

The fighting in the city came after Israeli forces arrested dozens of suspected Hamas fighters in the area, with videos circulating showing the men surrendering to the IDF while sitting in their underwear.

IDF spokesman Rear Admiral Daniel Hagari confirmed the arrests on Thursday and said the men had been detained at the “center of gravity” of terrorist activity, with suspects to be “interrogated” to find out how many of them were affiliated with terrorist groups.

The IDF has already raided Hamas’ general security headquarters in the area, collecting weapons, equipment and intelligence documents.

The IDF confirmed Tuesday that it had killed the battalion commander in Jabaliya, along with about a dozen other leaders from its estimated 24 battalions.
