Motorcycle-riding gunman in Tupac shirt ignites panic at UC Berkeley after firing shots outside packed concert hall

A crazed gunman wearing a Tupac Shakur T-shirt terrorized the University of California at Berkeley campus Friday night after randomly firing an automatic pistol outside a packed classical music performance.

According to reports, the unnamed shooter — who lives in Oakland — drove onto campus on a motorcycle around 8:30 p.m. and began harassing a group of students practicing a dance routine inside a tent.

Students told the Berkeley Scanner that the man was agitated and appeared to be trance-like.

As the gang tried to convince him to leave the area, he at one point threatened to call federal agents and send them home.

After refusing to leave, a video shows the man then repeatedly fire a gun near the school’s student union.

Chaos broke out during a packed concert by renowned soprano Renee Fleming at the nearby Zellerbach auditorium.

Around 2,000 terrified attendees were forced to shelter in place during the break as police units swarmed the scene.

Police quickly zeroed in on the suspect and placed him in custody. Another video shows a man being detained denying any involvement in the incident before being taken away.
