Mousumi Saha appeared as Swarna in Chokher Bali, a 2003 Indian Bengali drama film based on the 1903 novel Chokher Bali by Rabindranath Tagore starring Aishwarya Rai. The film won the National Film Award for Best Feature Film in Bengali, National film award for best costume design and National film award for best art direction.
She then appeared in Sindoorkhela as Parama in 2010. The story revolves around Jashodhara and her three daughters and their different opinions. He was also cast in Khokababu as Koushalya Mukherjee. The show revolves around Khoka, an innocent wrestler from Kusumpur, who falls in love with Tori, a spoiled brat from Kolkata.
Mousumi appeared in the TV series Khelaghor as Panchali Roy aired on Star Jalsha. The story revolves around a rich girl Purna Chatterjee who accidentally marries an uneducated traveler Shantu Gunda, a boy who lives in a slum in dire circumstances.
She also appeared in the television show Gangaram as Biraj Roy, Gangaram’s mother which aired on Star Jalsha. The story involves Gangaram Roy, a charming simple man from a village whose life revolves around music.
She later acted in Gouri Elo as Arundhati Ghoshal, an Indian Bengali language television series aired on the entertainment channel Zee Bangla.
