Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene has filed a criminal misconduct complaint against Fani Willis over allegations Willis had an “inappropriate” relationship with a special prosecutor she hired to lead the election interference case against Donald Trump in Georgia.
In a complaint filed Wednesday, Greene (R-Ga.) called for an investigation of the Fulton County district attorney over her alleged “secret boyfriend” Nathan Wade, the prosecutor representing her office in the former president’s case.
“I just sent a criminal referral requesting an immediate investigation into Fani Willis and her alleged secret boyfriend, Nathan Wade, to Governor Brian Kemp and AG Chris Carr,” Greene, a staunch Trump supporter, wrote on X.
“Georgians are sick and tired of Fani using his office to go after Joe Biden’s primary political opponent instead of going after real crime in Georgia.”

In his letter to Kemp and Georgia AG Carr, Greene called for an investigation into allegations that Willis “illegally hired her secret boyfriend” to conduct an “unprecedented, complex and partisan” investigation into Trump and others.
Greene reiterated claims that Willis may have benefited financially by hiring his alleged romantic partner as a special prosecutor amid allegations that the two have traveled together to destinations such as Napa Valley and the Caribbean.
“This is part of Fani Willis’ illegal partisan pattern, through her words and actions, to illegally politicize and weaponize her public office to take legal action against President Trump for the purpose of interfering in the 2024 presidential election,” wrote Greene.

Michael Roman, who is one of Trump’s 18 co-defendants in the Willis RICO investigation, originally made the allegations in a legal filing to dismiss the charges earlier this week.
Roman faces seven charges related to alleged interference in Georgia’s 2020 presidential election, including violations of Georgia’s Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations Act (RICO), conspiracy to impersonate a public official, conspiracy to commit forgery in the first degree and conspiracy to commit. false statements and writings.
Documents from Rome’s attorney, Ashleigh Merchant, accuse Willis of having an “inappropriate and confidential personal relationship” with Wade, which included a tropical vacation together while solving the case.

“Willis and Wade had a personal relationship before and after Willis appointed Wade as special prosecutor in the instant case,” he alleged.
“Willis and Wade were romantically involved before Willis contracted for legal services with Wade. It’s not entirely clear when the relationship started, but it started when Wade was married.”
Meanwhile, Willis has been subpoenaed to testify in Wade’s divorce proceedings from his wife, Joycelyn.
In court filings obtained by The Post, the process server said he served the subpoena on Willis at his office in Atlanta on Monday morning.
Wade, who has been married for 26 years and shares two adult children with Joycelyn, filed for divorce in Cobb County, outside Atlanta, in November 2021, according to court records.
