Mudassar Khan is an Indian choreographer. Muddassar Khan is known for his choreography for group dance performances. He is a talented dancer who has proven himself as a choreographer at a very young age.

Mudassar Khan was born on 20 October 1987 (age 31; as of 2018) in Mumbai in a lower middle class family. He attended MTS Khalas High School, Goregaon and completed his studies from Prakash Degree College, Kandivali. She developed an interest in dancing at the age of eight because her family was facing some financial problems. So, she started teaching dance at school to earn money and help her family. He is always enthusiastic about dancing. But he never thought of making it a profession.

Muddassar Khan participated in and won many dance competitions. In one such competition, Muddassar Khan got a chance to meet Salman Khan. Salman Khan was impressed with her choreography and offered her a song in his next film. This is where his journey as a choreographer began.

Mudassar Khan belongs to a lower middle class Muslim Family residing in Mumbai. Her parents did not support her dancing. He has a sister Farheen Khan (married) and a brother.

Career

Muddassar Khan started dancing at the age of eight. At first dancing was his hobby. Due to her financial situation, when she was only 13-14 years old, she started teaching dance at Thakur Public School, Kandivali, Mumbai. He worked there from 2001 to 2007 and also taught dance at several dance academies. Later, in 2004, he formed a hip-hop dance group called Sharp Shooters.

She has participated in different dance competitions with her group and solo. She performed at a dance competition in a mall in Mumbai judged by Salman Khan. Muddassar’s team won the competition and he got an opportunity to choreograph a song in Salman Khan’s Dabangg. According to Muddassar, Salman Khan is a man sent by God who changed his life; like after Dabangg, there is no looking back for him.

After Dabangg, he choreographed many other songs for Salman Khan but he got attention from DID Season 4 (2013); where he was one of the three judges on the show. Later, he became a judge for DID Lil Masters Season 3 (2004) followed by Dance Singapore Dance Season 2 (2017) and DID Season 6 (2017).

From 2010 to 2017, he worked for over 20 films as a choreographer including Dabbang 1 & 2, Ishkq in Paris, Boss, Jai Ho, Fugly, O Teri, Kick, and Ram Leela.
