Musk’s dad Errol reportedly worried about depiction in Elon’s upcoming biopic: ‘Going to be crucified’

Elon Musk’s father fears he “will be crucified” in an upcoming biopic about his billionaire son, according to a report.

The tech mogul’s father, 77-year-old Errol Musk, told The Sun on Saturday that he wants to meet with the famous director Darren Aronofsky, who will helm and produce a film about the life of the world’s richest man.

The film will be based on the biography of Walter Isaacson, who did not treat Errol Musk well.

She has expressed her disapproval of the book since its publication in September, believing she was portrayed as the villain in her eldest son’s life.

“This is worrying,” he told the outlet. “Isaacson’s book is not accurate, not far off.”

“I have to pass this on to Aronofsky,” he added.

The South African native asked the “Black Swan” director to “sit with him” and urged him not to “make the same mistake as Walter Isaacson,” he told The Sun.

A24 acquired the rights to the film after a fierce bidding war among several major studios and filmmakers.

After it was announced that Aronofsky would direct, Elon Musk said he approved, writing on social media platform X that he was, “Glad Darren did it. He’s one of the best.”

The father of the CEO of Tesla and SpaceX, however, is worried.

“Isaacson took the lies and innuendos and presented them as fact, especially about my behavior but also about the bullying and field camps that never happened,” he said.

In the biography, Isaacson described Errol Musk as a “charismatic rogue and fantasist” with a “Jekyll and Hyde quality.”

In one anecdote from the book, Elon describes attending a South African wilderness camp, known as a “veldskool” when he was 12 years old.

Isaacson wrote that the future tycoon lost 10 pounds at the camp, where children often died in the conditions.

“I am still amazed at Isaacson’s naivety in believing what he was told without checking South Africa among the people here,” he told the outlet.

Elon Musk also told biographers he was often “beat up by bullies” while growing up in South Africa.

“The movie will be seen by thousands, maybe millions of ordinary people,” the elder Musk said, comparing it to a biography.

“The book will be read by intelligent adults who know better,” he continued.

Errol Musk also said he was concerned that filmmakers would take liberties with “very graphic scenes to create sensationalism.”

Elon Musk found himself in hot water this week after he endorsed an X post that claimed the Jewish community was promoting “hate against white people,” responding, “you have spoken the real truth.”

The statement caused a huge backlash, and some companies, such as Apple, pulled their ads from the platform.
