Shimla is situated on five hills and the highest hill is Jakhoo Hill where you can also come to visit Lord Hanuman. At the top of the hill, there is a temple called Jakhoo temple where you will find the biggest statue of Lord Hanuman and it can be seen from all over Shimla. The city has been in the limelight since the British era and at that time it was the summer capital.
If you like walking in Shimla then there are many trails in Shimla. Local residents use this trail to reach their homes or workplaces. In the city of Shimla, both modern and ancient glimpses can be easily seen. Local people live a modern life and there are many small villages untouched by modern life.
People still keep cattle and depend entirely on agriculture. Here we can find cow’s milk which is hard to find in metro cities. There are mountains at every corner of the horizon and the scenery is as it should be, it’s beautiful. I am happy that I was born in this beautiful city.
