Nabanita Malakar was born on August 4 in Jalpaiguri, West Bengal. His father’s name is Dilip Malakar and his mother’s name is Dolon Malakar. He has an older sister named Dip Malakar. Nabanita has completed her schooling from Sunitibala Sadar Girls Secondary School. After finishing school, Nabanita went to Anandra Chandra College to continue her studies to the BA (Bachelor of Arts) level.

Career
Nabanita started her acting career by playing a role as a supporting actress in the series Agomoni. After making her debut, Nabanita appeared in the Colors Bangla drama serial Aponjon where she played the role of Shiuli in 2015-17. Later, Nabanita gained popularity for reprising Aishwarya’s famous lead role as Mimi in the romantic drama serial Ei Chheleta Bhelbheleta. The series is directed by Saibal Banerjee and in this series he stars alongside Prapti Chatterjee and Somraj Maity. After gaining popularity, Nabanita appeared in Koushik Roy’s Punyi Pukur series as supporting actress Aratrika and Mimi and in Subrata Roy’s Manasa series as supporting actress Saraswati.
Nabanita is also known for playing the lead role of Lokkhipriya in the Colors Bangla drama serial Mahaprabhu Shri Chaitanya in 2018. In 2021, she again gained huge popularity for playing the lead role of Jyoti in the romantic drama serial Sagar Jyoti. The story of the serial revolves around a girl Jyoti who belongs to a middle class family and falls in love with Sagar who belongs to a rich family. In November 2022, Nabanita appeared in Anup Chakraborty’s drama serial Neem Phooler Madhu where she reprized her supporting role as Tinni alongside Manosi Sengupta, Pallavi Sharma and Rubel Das.
