A hiker who got lost on a hill in the suburbs of Los Angeles is pictured being rescued naked.
Witnesses raised the alarm around 8:45 Monday night after hearing someone crying for help in Chatsworth, the Los Angeles Fire Department said.
The stranded man was found by helicopter about 45 minutes later — with photos obtained by CBS Los Angeles showing him waving for help while fully in the buff.
The photos, which digitally blur something intimate, show her standing with her arms raised high in the spotlight.
The unidentified man is believed to have been missing from the remote location since about 4 p.m., CBS Los Angeles said, without saying whether it was known why he stripped.

He was lifted from the helicopter by rescuers and flown to the landing area, where he was assessed by paramedics, before being taken to hospital.
The fire department said the pedestrian suffered minor injuries, but it was not immediately known what happened to him.
The agency did not address the unexplained condition of the victim during the rescue.

Temperatures in the area ranged between 40 and 69 degrees on Monday, according to information from AccuWeather.com.
