Nandita started her career as a Radio Jockey with All India Radio for their Marathi programmes. He also works as a voice artist for many computer-based educational projects.
Theater
Nandita joined Theater by accident. In an interview, he talked about it and said,
I call myself an accidental actor because I had no plans to make a career in the entertainment industry. I work in the corporate sector and to satisfy my creativity, I used to do an early morning show on All India Radio. Later, I joined a theater group and realized that this was the right time to explore my interests.”
He is known for his roles in dramas like ‘Wada,’ ‘Iraq,’ ‘Var Khali Don Paye,’ and ‘Jungle Mein Mangal.’
Movie
Nandita’s debut film was ‘Elizabeth Ekadashi’ (2014) where she played the role of Dnyanesh’s mother. Later, he worked in many Marathi films like ‘Daaravatha’ (2015), ‘Lalbaugchi Rani’ (2016), ‘Khari Biscuit’ (2019), ‘Baba’ (2019), and ‘Balbharti’ (2022). He also worked in a short film, ‘Butter Chicken’ (2022). The film won Calcutta International Cult Film Festival 2021 – Outstanding Achievement Award and was officially selected for Panorama International Film Festival of India 2021, 11th Pune Short Film Festival 2021 and Lift-Off Global Network Sessions 2021.

She made her television debut with the Marathi show ‘Maze Pati Saubhagyavati’ (2015), in which she played the role of Laxmi. He then worked at ‘Tu Maza Sangati.’ In 2020, he appeared in the Marathi serial ‘Sahkutumb Sahparivar.’ Her role as ‘Sarita’ won the ‘Sarvotkrsht Vahini Award’ at Star Prawah Puruskar.

Annapurna Vitthal Bhairi, who plays Aai (mother of Surya) in the Marathi TV show Sahakutumb Sahaparivar, has made serious allegations against the show’s director and her co-stars, including Nandita Patkar, for harassing her mentally.
