Nas EBK, a popular artist and YouTuber, was recently arrested and charged with violence and issuing threats of violence. All of this happened while Nasir Valenzuela (AKA Nas EBK) was filming a fake video for his YouTube account at the Rochelle Park ShopRite. The artist can be heard threatening someone with a dagger at one point in the recording. He stated:
“If you walk towards me again, I will rape you.”
On Tuesday, February 21, 2023, US Marshals arrested a Bronx resident in Penns Grove. As of January 9, 2023, the now-deleted footage has been posted to the website. Nas can be seen in the footage approaching shoppers and ShopRite employees and yelling at them.

“Do you think you are strong?” Nas EBK is in hot trouble after a viral video showed him threatening to “stab” someone.
The hopeful New York rapper’s video went viral after he dressed as a ShopRite employee and engaged in a vocal brawl. Later, he explained that it was all part of the hoax movie. However, according to authorities in Rochelle Park, the Vlogger threatened someone with a dagger. Trouble starts when the artist tries to trick the couple by saying their luggage is his. When the man became defensive and tried to challenge Nas EBK, he started saying:
“We’re joking, man, it’s a joke… Stop playing me or I’ll take you down.”
He then pulls out a dagger, which heightens the tension. He stated:
“What? I’m going to attack you now. how are you? how are you? What? “You believe you’re strong, bro?”
The person recording the footage tried to defuse the situation and calm Nasir Valenzuela down, but to no avail, as the artist can be heard saying:
“I’m going to attack your forehead now, what, look, what are you trying to do? Stop messing with me. “I will cut your forehead.”
The film, which was published last month, has received over 450,000 hits. Nasir Valenzuela has now been charged with illegal possession of a firearm, simple assault, terroristic threats, and disorderly conduct. He is currently being held at the Bergen County Jail. Nas EBK is a popular figure on Instagram, where he currently has over 127,000 fans. The profile is managed by Nas’ staff, according to his Instagram description. Shortly after his arrest, his photo was posted to the site with the caption:
“Too much chit-chat Ebk, I’ll be back soon RELEASE DA RI$KTAKER”
While it was uncertain how officials would proceed with the case at the time, many social media users are now advocating for Nas’ release, saying that he was harmless and that the behavior was part of the plan. There is no further development on the matter.
