Natalia Grace, adopted girl who claimed to be 6, confronts her adoptive father in new docuseries

Natalia Grace, a Ukrainian orphan accused of trying to kill her adoptive parents, has sensationally confronted her adoptive father in a new document.

Grace, who was accused of “impersonating” a child despite allegedly being an adult, tells her story in a new six-part series titled “The Curious Case of Natalia Grace: Natalia Speaks.”

“In every lie is a hidden truth, but you have to dig deep enough to see it,” he says in a preview clip.

“They will not get away with this,” he added. “This is my side story. Do I look like a monster to you?”

In the documents, Grace opens up about what happened after she was adopted by Indiana couple Michael and Kristine Barnett in 2010.

The Barnetts previously accused him of emotionally and physically abusing them while pretending to be a 6-year-old girl even though he was allegedly 20 years old.

He was accused of disturbing the couple while they slept with a knife in his hand – an allegation he denies.

“I’ve never been in your room with a knife,” she tells her adoptive father in the clip as she puts her head in her hands. “I know what I see.”

“It’s very frustrating to hear everything from Kristine and Michael because I don’t know who I am anymore, and I want to know who I am, what happened to me,” Natalia said in the trailer for the upcoming documentary. “But I heard all the things that never happened from Kristine and Michael.”

Grace has a rare form of dwarfism called spondyloepiphyseal dysplasia congenita.

Her story was featured in the recent Investigative Discovery documentary “The Curious Case Of Natalia Grace.”

Michael and Kristine adopted what they believed to be a 6-year-old girl in April 2010.

Two years later, the couple petitioned the court to legally change the girl’s year of birth from 2003 to 1989, which was granted, and change her age from 8 to 22.

They then moved to Canada with their biological children, where their eldest son would start college.

In 2013, the couple soon found themselves in legal trouble when Grace was found living alone in an apartment in Lafayette, Indiana, leading to their investigation and arrest.

In 2019, the couple, who have since divorced, were charged with child neglect.

Michael Barnett was finally found not guilty by a jury in 2022, and Kristine Barnett had all charges dismissed in March of this year.

The six-part documentary will debut on January 1st at 9/8c on ID.
