The influence of social media
Nawaz started his journey as a social media influencer by posting comedy sketches and lip-sync duet videos on TikTok, where he has more than 164.2k followers; however, he lost his fan following on the application after the application was banned by the Indian government following the Galwan valley clash with China in 2020. After TikTok was banned, Nawaz started posting comedy dramas and duet videos on Instagram and as of October 2022, he has more than 102k subscribers on Instagram. He also has a YouTube channel by the name of Nawaz Kannada Reviews, where he has more than 7.25k subscribers (as of October 2022).

Nawaz has not only produced several Kannada short films but has also acted in them. In 2021, he appeared in Raktha Pata: The Underworld Story, where he played the role of a psycho killer.
