The professional basketball player’s wife decided to call off their marriage earlier this year after tying the knot in 2018. In documents originally obtained by ExplosionAnderson cited irreconcilable differences and insisted she wanted full legal and physical custody of their children.
Ariza has now responded to his ex-wife Bree Anderson’s divorce petition and he may not be too happy. In the answer, obtained by Explosion, Trevor rejected Anderson’s request for full custody and explained that he was interested in “joint legal and physical custody of his children.” He also stated that he “wants to end spousal support for his ex.”
Ariza also cited “irreconcilable differences that led to their separation, and he said their separation date is November 1, 2019.”

The free agent is hoping for a good, mess-free split from Anderson, this happening “for separate property, assets and debts.” Trevor claims he also explained through his lawyer that “all property acquired before the marriage, all property acquired during the marriage by gift or inheritance, and all income and accumulation after separation. Further details will be disclosed in the Respondent’s Initial and Final Disclosure Declaration, and if necessary ,
The respondent will request permission to amend his answer in furtherance of justice and/or to comply with the evidence at the time of trial.”
In other words, Trevor will prepare the necessary documents through his lawyer to ensure a smooth divorce. The document will include things like his personal inheritance, or anything he has made after Nov. 1. 2019, the date of their legal separation according to him.
Damn, What Did Bree Anderson Get?

Bree doesn’t seem to be getting along like a bandit in this divorce considering she has two kids with the baller. However, Trevor had no intention of breaking up with his wife. Through court documents, Trevor has stated that community property is still desecrated. Trevor said “the full nature and extent of the community’s assets and debts are unknown at this time.”
Ultimately, the former LA Laker also asked that he and Bree pay their own attorney fees. When Bree initially filed for separation from Trevor, she asked for spousal support and her attorney’s fees paid. Trevor is clearly against the latter. He agreed that time was needed to sort out their community property.
Although they were only married for a short time, they were together for several years before that and shared two children together. Trevor has a son, Tajh from a previous relationship with Lana Allen who accused him of physically abusing Tajh and trying to get full custody.
A judge dismissed the case as soon as it was revealed that Allen had no real evidence to prove that Trevor abused their son or caused him emotional harm. Hope this custody battle goes smoothly.
