According to legal documents, obtained by The Blast, the basketball player has filed a request for a restraining order against Bree Anderson being very specific about his wife’s alleged assault on him. He claims that in April 2020, his ex-wife was jealous and angry because Trevor’s new girlfriend called him.
“Bree grabbed my hair and violently ripped the dreadlocks from my scalp. Bree almost completely ripped the second dreadlock from my scalp as well. This second dreadlock was left hanging from my scalp by a few strands of hair,” she wrote.
He added that the incident happened AFTER he allegedly tried to drive the car off the road, saying, “In a fit of jealousy, Bree leaned into the driver’s seat and with her right hand pulled the steering wheel hard towards the passenger seat. Bree’s unexpected and dangerous actions almost caused me to lose complete control of my vehicle. My car suddenly skidded across two lanes of traffic to the right.”

Trevor shared in court documents that he was in fear for his children’s lives after seeing how his ex-wife behaved. In the filing, he said he had physically harmed children because of suspected anger issues.
He described an incident in which he was allegedly physically assaulted with their two children after a high school basketball game. At the time, she said she made sure to point out that other parents saw this and expressed concern. He also said he had held Bree shouting racial slurs at him in front of their children as well as being physical with her by throwing bottles at her and punching her in the arm and chest with closed fists.

In Trevor’s filing, he addressed Bree’s domestic violence order against him and described it as a tactic. “I truly interpret Bree’s application for a DVRO as a fraudulent trial tactic used to thwart Tristan and Taylor’s ability to have a meaningful relationship with me and force me to give more money and her attorney more money.”
She later stated that she refused to accept this and instead, “I filed my request for a DVRO to protect Tristan, Taylor, and I from any further acts of Bree’s abusive behavior and coercive control. Although I sincerely want to keep our family affairs a secret.”
He went on to say, “I hope the court will see through Bree’s recent ruthless and underhanded litigation tactics.”

The former NBA player ended his filing by insisting that he seeks peace in his personal life including the turmoil his ex-wife is going through.
“I am deeply concerned about Tristan and Taylor and live in genuine fear for their safety and emotional well-being. Now our children have been completely removed from my custody due to the TRO on February 14, 2023.”
She went on to say, “I feel very helpless in my ability to protect our children and am asking the court for help to protect Tristan and Taylor from their mother’s continued and escalating abusive behavior as evidenced by the incident of January 31, 2023 .”
Trevor is seeking sole legal and physical custody of his children and assigning him supervised visitation.
