Career
She started her career with East-West Airlines in 1995, which was closed in 1996. In March 2000, she started her career as an international flight attendant at Singapore Airlines, Singapore, and worked there for almost six years. In August 2006, he joined Kingfisher Airlines, Mumbai, as an in-flight director and worked with Kingfisher for more than eight years. Then, when Kingfisher Airlines shut down, he was unemployed for almost two years. In an interview, while talking about it, he said,
I was unemployed for two years. My behavior also changed. This time was also very difficult for my family due to irritability, confusion and depression. Now I have got a job in a ‘property’ company. Like normal people, I too have a 9 am to 5 pm routine. I am fortunate that many of my colleagues who worked at Kingfisher as pilots and ground staff have yet to find another job.

He further added,
But when I wake up in the morning and go to work, I don’t often feel like this. I still remember when in the morning we checked everything in the plane, met new people, when there was a problem, we always thought of a new way to deal with it. The most beautiful sight in the world is when our plane takes off in the early morning with the sun rising through the clouds, or when lightning strikes through the cockpit window in the middle of a storm. I used to tell everyone that if someone spends more than five years in this industry, then it’s as if ‘aviation fuel’ starts flowing in the veins instead of the blood. My dream is broken. I will never be able to do what I was born to do. This experience suddenly taught me worldliness.”

She later worked as Head of Customer Relations at Radius Developers, Mumbai, from December 2014 to June 2019. Neetu then joined NucleusOffice Parks, Mumbai, as a senior manager in June 2019.

- In 2018, Neetu Shukla spoke about her former employer Vijay Mallya who was arrested in a money laundering case. While talking to reporters, Neetu said,

I have two older sisters, and they were my heroes growing up. Their definition of an ideal man is exactly what I want. I think their version of the ideal man is the perfect man and I want to be like that. No matter where I am today, I think I’m still a better man for pursuing their ideals. Yes, both my sisters have a big role in the way I think. They made me realize the importance of women and respect them. So, a lot of my understanding of women came through my sisters apart from my mother.”
