Career
Born in Pune, Neha graduated in computer science from Savitribai Phule University in 2006 and went to Georgia Institute of Technology the same year for her post-graduation studies. According to his LinkedIn profile, he has worked at Oracle for two years, followed by a software engineer position at LinkedIn.
In 2014, he launched Confluent with two of his colleagues, to bring this software to more companies, which has a market cap of $7 billion. Neha served as chief technology and product officer until 2020. She is currently a member of the board of directors.
In addition to co-founding Confluent, the youngest self-made female entrepreneur, Neha is also the co-creator of Apache Kafka, an open source messaging system along with Gwen Shapira and Todd Palino.
