Twins Neil Patrick Harris and David Burtka are 12 years old!
The proud parents took to Instagram to mark the occasion with heartfelt posts of birthday tributes. Harris, 49, posted two side-by-side photos of her hugging each child with the caption, “Twelve years old today. Harper and Gideon are, without question, two of the greatest things that have ever happened to me. They inspire me, make me laugh, allow me to be an imperfect father, and fill me with the kind of love I never knew could exist.

Her sweet caption continued, “Being a parent is hard, the most challenging thing David and I have ever done. But so, so worth it. Extra ordinary. They are my children. They are my world. Plus, they’re so much fun to cuddle…” She ended the caption with, “Happy birthday, Gid and Harps. I love you so much, and can’t believe you’re GROWN!! How in the whenwhat?!?”

David Burtka Writes, “I Couldn’t Ask For A Better Child!”
Burtka, 47, also shared a beautiful tribute to the twins’ big day with a photo captioned, “Happy GOLDEN 12th Birthday to these amazing kids! I can’t believe how quickly this all went by! I am so proud of the way you grew up.” Burtka continued the caption explaining how proud she was of them writing, “You are sweet, loving, caring, creative and you have the best sense of humor. I’m proud to be your dad and I can’t wait to see how the next 12 years unfold. I couldn’t ask for a better son!”
