Netanyahu visits Israeli troops in Gaza, gets briefed on Hamas in civilian areas: ‘We’re not stopping’

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu visited the country’s troops fighting in northern Gaza on Monday as he was briefed on Hamas operations “in the middle of civilian areas.”

During his latest visit near the front lines of the war, Netanyahu touted the success of the Israeli army in Gaza, where the Israeli army has destroyed almost all of the northern battalion of Hamas terrorists.

In video uploaded by the prime minister’s officeNetanyahu was seen arriving in Gaza by helicopter and being driven to where the army was stationed.

He was seen shaking hands and talking to soldiers, assuring them that the army would work to keep them safe and repeating that the war would not end until Hamas was eliminated.

“First thing – we will do everything to keep you safe,” Netanyahu said. “Secondly, we don’t stop. Anyone who talks about quitting — no.

“We are not stopping. This war will continue until the end. Until we get it done. Nothing less than that,” he added.

“The nation of Israel is proud of its heroes. I am proud of you,” Netanyahu concluded.

The prime minister’s office added that Netanyahu thanked the soldiers for serving their country and being away from their families for more than two months now, describing their dedication and sacrifice as “the key to victory.”

Along with speaking to the army, Netanyahu also gave a brief description of the types of weapons and tunnel shafts found by the IDF scattered throughout civilian infrastructure in Gaza.

Over the weekend, the IDF released disturbing images of some of these finds, including improvised explosive belts for children and toy boxes hiding warheads in a Gaza kindergarten.

Explosive belts rigged for children were found inside Hamas enclaves located near schools, mosques and medical facilities, the IDF said.

Another raid on a Gaza school that serves as a shelter for Palestinian refugees also found rows of hand grenades, RPG missiles, explosives and firearms ammunition.
