Netflix is on the decline, folks. The streaming service has just canceled another one of its original programs.
Netflix Says To ‘Bling Empire’

The show is the latest to get the ax among many who have said goodbye to Netflix whether they like it or not. Shows that focused on wealthy Asian Americans in Los Angles and New York for its spin-offs are both coming to an end.
There will be no fourth season of the original show and the second season of New York will not air. The show markets itself as a real-life version of the hit movie Crazy Rich Asians. Fans follow along as they shop like crazy, celebrate little-known traditions, and attend great vacations.
The first season of Bling Empire premiered in January 2021 and since then the cast has been completed with, Christine Chiu, Kane Lim, Kelly Mi Li, Kevin Kreider, Gabriel Chu, Anna Shay, Cherie Chan, Jessey Lee, Kim Lee, Andrew Gray, Jamie Xie, and Lelaki Tang.
As the series progressed, the episode order became smaller and smaller the second season had 10 episodes while the third season only had 8. Although the latest season had the most character development, it felt like it was too little, too late.
‘Bling Empire: New York’ Has A Familiar Cast

When the show ordered a spin-off, they signed on a familiar face, Dorothy Wang who made her reality TV debut on the E! Beverly Hills Rich Kids. He knows the majority of the cast Bling Empire and made an appearance in the show’s second season.
He was the natural choice to lead the spinoff and was joined by Tina Leung, Deborah Hung and Stephen Hung. The spinoff landed on Netflix in January 2023 the craziest thing was that Wang moved to New York to make the show a success and this is how it ended.

Netflix is going through a real transition lately they’ve chosen to give the boot to a handful of their shows and just like every other year, it’s surprising. Although some may be sad that Bling Empire gone, they’re not alone, another show that’s said to be on the verge of being canceled is My Unusual Life.
In the world of scripted programming, many shows are off schedule; White Line, I’m Not Good With This, Light, Altered Carbon, Order, and away Really the list is too long. Netflix isn’t helping itself with this password crackdown.
The company recently implemented a block that doesn’t allow friends and family to share Netflix accounts unless they live in the same house. Also, streaming platforms have raised their monthly subscription prices too much.
They don’t offer much content that people want to watch anymore. However, they have plans to fix account sharing; launch the option to add someone with a second payment.
Now all they need to do is stop canceling so many shows every year. Almost all of the shows we’ve listed above don’t last a season and end on a cliffhanger, something many people usually take to social media to decry.
