An elite unit of Israeli agents has been formed to hunt down every Hamas terrorist involved in the dastardly October 7 sneak attack on the Jewish state, according to reports.
Specially selected members of Shin Bet, Israel’s version of the FBI, will function independently of other units that target high-ranking terrorists, the Jerusalem Post said.
The new unit will specifically target members of Hamas’ special commando group called Nukhba, which is believed to have launched attacks that killed hundreds of innocent Israelis along the country’s border with the Gaza Strip.
The unit is named after the World War I-era Jewish underground organization “Nili,” short in Hebrew for “The Eternal One of Israel will not lie,” the Times of Israel said.
The Shin Bet and the Israel Defense Forces were criticized after the massacre for their lack of vigilance.

Shin Bet’s new unit will use intelligence and agents on the ground to hunt down the estimated 2,500 terrorists involved in the attack.
The Israel Defense Forces have already announced the deaths of several Nukhba operatives, including Billal al-Qedra, the head of the terrorist group’s Khan Younis battalion, and commander Ali Qadhi,
Last week, the Israeli army reported killing 10 Nukhba militants during an operation in the Gaza Strip.
