On the Republican side, former South Carolina Governor Nikki Haley is hoping the Granite State can give her a win to dispel former President Donald Trump’s aura of invulnerability following his landslide victory in Iowa last week.
Meanwhile, President Biden will not be on the ballot in the Democratic primary because of a scheduling dispute between New Hampshire officials and the Democratic National Committee.
This led state party officials to conduct a write-in campaign on behalf of Biden against Rep. Dean Phillips (D-Minn.) and self-help author Marianne Williamson.
On Tuesday evening, Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris held their first joint rally of 2024, at George Mason University in Manassas, Va., where Harris attacked Trump as the “architect” of the abortion-related “health care crisis” that has left women with ” miscarried in the toilet.”
