A two and a half minute long trailer was posted to the series’ official social media accounts on Wednesday morning, containing the most footage the series has ever released!

The story of “Daisy Jones & The Six” has been revived so far with the release of two singles included in the series’ soundtrack. “Regret Me” and “Look At Us Now (Honeycomb)” are part of the planned adaptation of the band’s full-length album “Aurora,” which readers will recognize as the band’s breakout hit that helped catapult them to Fleetwood Mac superstardom!

The latter song is featured in the latest trailer and features songwriting credits from various big names in music, including Mumford and Sons’ Marcus Mumford, and Dawes vocalist Taylor Goldsmith.

What Do We Know About ‘Daisy Jones & The Six’ Series So Far?

The Blast has covered various aspects of the series, including how Jenkins Reid feels about his character coming to life!

The main players in the small screen adaptation of the book are Reese Witherspoon and her production company, Hello Sunshine. The “Your Place Or Mine” actor was immediately hooked on the story, and worked to bring it to life!

Witherspoon is enthralled by Jenkins Reid’s tale of a wildly successful rock band that is nearly destroyed by deep-rooted internal strife among the band members, especially Daisy (Riley Keough) and Billy (Sam Claflin).

“As soon as I read ‘Daisy Jones & The Six,’ I immediately fell in love with it, and I’m excited to bring it to the screen with Amazon and Jen Salke, who are pursuing the material with a passion that speaks volumes,” said Witherspoon, per Book Bub.

Jenkins Reid seems equally enamored with Witherspoon’s involvement with the project: “I’m a huge fan of hers,” the writer revealed in an interview with CTV Your Morning. “She’s a book champion, and it’s like, who doesn’t want to hear that Reese Witherspoon loves their book? The greatest thing!”

Executive producer Scott Neustadter is also very invested in the Six crew story.

“I flipped it over, and absolutely fell in love with the whole thing,” she told Vanity Fair, of each of our parts in the series. “Transporting to the Laurel Canyon music scene in the 1970s was like, the greatest gift I could ever imagine.”

But when I write it, I agonize over it, and I can’t see clearly, and it’s not until a book is fully formed that I can say, ‘Oh, like, I did a good job,’ or ‘I’m proud of this.’ Now that it’s done, it’s packaged, and it’s out of my hands, I’m very proud of it,” Jenkins Reid concluded.
