Movie star Jamie Foxx is still not completely healthy. According to reports, the actor who was hospitalized in April is “still not himself” despite receiving “the best care” for the past two months.
However, while it remains unknown what led to his medical complications, several of his colleagues have confirmed that they have spoken to him and that he is in “excellent shape and spirits.”

A source recently told the publication that the actress is “still not herself” despite weeks of rehab at a private facility in Chicago, where she was transferred after weeks in an Atlanta hospital.
However, the insider confirmed that the actor is getting “the best care and is working hard to recover now” and that he has “the tightest circle around him.”
As Foxx suffered medical complications, it remains unclear what exactly happened, as the Oscar winner’s family prefers to keep things under wraps for undisclosed reasons.
He’s also been off social media for years, only making a brief comeback in April to thank fans and other well-wishers for their prayers and another in June to announce his film debut “They Cloned Tyrone.”

Amid the uncertainty about his true condition, Foxx has been in communication with several people, one of whom is “They Cloned Tyrone” co-star John Boyega.
The British actor told Many people at the film’s Los Angeles premiere on Tuesday that he recently had a phone call with Foxx and can confirm that he is “doing fine.”
“I congratulated him directly,” Boyega told the publication. “I give him all my best wishes. So I’ll just wait until he gets back here. So take your time, Jamie. We love you, bro.”
In addition to Boyega, Datari Turner, Foxx’s co-producer on the science fiction comedy, mentioned that the actor has also been in contact with the film’s director Juel Taylor.
“He did amazing. I promise. Doing it very well,” he said. “Juel spoke to him yesterday…. He is in very good condition and enthusiastic. And he will return to the screen. He will be back at work soon.”

Aside from “They Cloned Tyrone,” Foxx also has another film of his that has hit the silver screen in his absence.
Dubbed “God Is a Bullet,” the action thriller, inspired by Bob Terran’s eponymous novel, was directed by Nick Cassavetes and featured Foxx as The Ferryman.
“When detective Bob Hightower (Coster-Waldau) finds his ex-wife murdered and his daughter kidnapped by a satanic cult, he quits the police force, gets a tattoo, and infiltrates the cult to hunt down the charismatic cult leader, Cyrus, with help from the only escapee the cult woman, Case Hardin (Monroe),” the film’s synopsis reads, per Many people.
On Aug. 18, the R-rated comedy “Strays” will also hit theaters, in which Foxx voices a dog named Bug who is on a mission with other canines to get revenge on an animal-hating drug addict.

News of Foxx’s condition went viral following an Instagram post from his daughter Corinne on April 11 that revealed he was suffering from medical complications.
“We wanted to share that my father, Jamie Foxx, had medical complications yesterday,” she wrote before stating that he was “on the road to recovery.”
A few weeks later, he shared in a now-deleted post on Instagram that the actor was “on the mend” and explained that there was no damage to his physical abilities, contrary to rumors circulating online.
“Update from the family: Sad to see how the media went wild. My father had been out of the hospital for weeks, recovering. Actually, he was in a pickle yesterday! Thank you for all the prayers and support,” Corinne posted, per Explosion.
