The Brooklyn Nets reportedly have Nia Long’s lover, Ime Udoka, as their number one choice to replace their former head coach Steve Nash.
The Nets relieved Nash of his duties after a rough start to the season and public outrage that led to his ejection from the game. And one name that has been shortlisted to replace the 48-year-old is Udoka, giving the Boston Celtics coach a chance to redeem himself following his misconduct suspension.

Despite this, insiders claim that the Celtics have no intention of objecting to Udoka signing with another team. The Nigerian-American star has some history with his prospective employer as he served under Nash for one season in 2020-21.
After that job, he coached the Celtics and led them to the NBA Finals last season. Udoka also enjoys a long history with Nets general manager Sean Marks, which began in 2012 when they worked together with the San Antonio Spurs.
The two-time American Basketball Association champions have investigated the circumstances surrounding Udoka’s suspension. An independent law firm’s investigation of the Portland State alum revealed allegations that he used abusive language during a conversation with a female subordinate before he began an affair that allegedly had a significant impact on his suspension.
