In light of their recent scandal involving children holding teddy bears wearing BDSM-style clothing, Kim and Bella have taken (some) action to denounce the brand.

The creator of Skims did speak out against the brand, but has yet to cut ties with the fashion label.
In her first conversation on the matter, Kardashian explained via a Twitter thread why it took her so long to publicly address Balenciaga’s controversial campaign.
“I have been silent for the past few days, not because I am not disgusted with the recent Balenciaga campaign, but because I wanted the opportunity to speak with their team to understand for myself how this could happen,” he explained.

The reality star, who has developed a close relationship with the fashion brand and walked in their fashion show in Paris in July, added, “As a mother of four, I was shocked by the disturbing images. The safety of children must be held in high regard and any attempt to normalize child abuse should have no place in our society – period.”
Kidman ALSO walked in their July show, but has yet to say ANYTHING about the brand following their scandal.
In fact, as early as November 21, the Australian shared a photo of himself wearing two outfits from Balenciaga.

Many on social media have expressed their disgust and displeasure at Kidman’s lack of response.
She’s since posted on social media twice amid the fashion label’s debacle, so it’s pretty clear Kidman has an idea of what’s going on.
“Isn’t it strange that the public is silent on the unspeakable violence of child exploitation and harm? Their silence is deafening,” wrote one person on Twitter.
“Yes Hollywood, @KeithUrban’s wife Nicole Kidman eats worms on television and models and endorses this brand. Shame she has kids, she should be the loudest voice out there. @beyonce @kevinjonas I didn’t hear you say anything,” another angry user wrote.
