After this remarkable academic achievement, he did an intermediate with the science stream. After that, he joined IIT coaching class, but he failed to taste success in JEE exam. In 2015, he pursued a Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Science at BMS College of Engineering, Bengaluru. Career
In 2016, Niharika Nm started her journey as a YouTuber when she uploaded her first video titled ‘Birth Type People.’ In an interview, he revealed that he set up his YouTube channel for entertainment and to take a break from his busy academic schedule. After that, he uploaded many “Types” videos where he humorously describes the types of people of certain categories. Meanwhile, he continued his studies. Although his videos were well received, he stopped making them because he could not focus on academics and content creation simultaneously. After moving to the US, he resumed creating content when Instagram launched the Reels feature. In an interview, he said,
There is no other reason to avoid creating content. Also, it’s easier to hold an audience’s attention for 15 to 20 seconds than for 15 minutes.”
He rose to fame in 2018 with his YouTube video titled ‘Types of Students During Exams,’ which went viral on the internet.
Although he created various hit reels on his Instagram account, his breakthrough reel titled ‘One Way Street It is,’ brought him to the fore. The reel garnered 10 million views within ten days, accelerating Niharika’s growth significantly.
Niharika became one of the fastest growing digital content creators on Instagram, surpassing 1 million followers within two months of setting up her account. In 2020, he made a guest appearance on ‘Behensplaining,’ a weekly show on Netflix’s YouTube channel. The show features Indian YouTube sensations Kusha Kapila and Srishti Dixit, streaming and hilariously commenting on various movies and shows.
