Niki Mehra was born as Nikita Mehra on Monday, August 2, 1993 (age 27 years; as of 2020), in New Delhi, India. He pursued an honors degree in economics at the Delhi School of Economics, University of Delhi. After that, he continued his studies for a master’s degree in economics at the University of South Asia, New Delhi. Since childhood, Niki has been fond of make-up and fashion. During her childhood, she always wore her mother’s makeup and clicked pictures all the time. In an interview, he said,
My mother had studied fashion design and my father was a serious business man so I think I always had a knack for fashion entrepreneurship. As I got older, I really started to enjoy fashion and makeup and I knew this was what I wanted to do.”

In a Tedx Talks video, she talks about her past relationship that ended in 2016. She mentions that the reason for the breakup was her ex-boyfriend’s parents who were uncomfortable with Niki displaying her lifestyle through her social media accounts. Then, in 2018, Niki met Sid Madan, who is a fashion entrepreneur, during London Fashion Week, and their work trip soon turned out to be the beginning of their relationship.

In 2016, while pursuing a master’s degree, she realized that economics was not her passion, therefore, she partially ventured into fashion blogging for recreation as her academics were quite difficult and challenging. Surprisingly, by the end of 2016, he had a significant growth in his audience, therefore, he decided to continue blogging full time. In an interview, he said,
This whole plan of mine is a secret. No one other than my best friend helped me click pictures for my blog to know about. I’ve told myself if I can’t connect with that many individuals in a year, then no one needs to know and I can go back to the life I’ve been working towards for 23 years; that is to be an economist.”
As her blog flourished, she traveled to Paris winning the ‘Style Your Way to Paris Contest’ organized by leading crystal jewelery brand, Swarovski. She was hired as a brand ambassador for Swarovski’s international campaign.

Another golden achievement that marked Niki Mehra’s career came when she was chosen by the luxury sportswear brand ‘Puma’ to interview Hollywood celebrity, Rihanna, about the launch of her beauty brand ‘Fenty collection.’

Through his popular blog and other social media platforms, he is able to earn a steady income.
