Former South Carolina Gov. Nikki Haley has earned $2.6 million since losing to Donald Trump in the New Hampshire primary on Tuesday, according to her campaign.
The 48-hour haul included $1.2 million in digital and small dollar donations and came after the former president threatened to blacklist everyone who donated to his former ambassador to the United Nations.
“Anyone who makes a ‘Donation’ to Birdbrain, from this point forward, will be banned forever from the MAGA camp,” Trump, 77, said in a Thursday Truth Social post, using his preferred nickname for Haley, 52.
“Donald Trump’s threat highlights the clear choice in this election: personal vendetta or true conservative leadership,” said Haley’s spokeswoman, AnnMarie Graham-Barnes.
“Trump’s scheme blew up in his face. Donations to Haley’s campaign are pouring in—proof that people are fed up with the drama and support Nikki’s vision for a strong and proud America.”

But Haley’s cash pile has also taken a hit after finishing second in the Granite State
Some of his major donors said they were reconsidering their funding streams because they did not see a path for him to secure the nomination.
Dmitri Mehlhorn, a political philanthropic adviser to Democrat and megadonor Haley Reid Hoffman, told The Post this week that Haley would have to show “new potential paths to victory” before accepting more money from the billionaire.
“It’s still possible that Governor Haley will be able to convince voters that Trump is no longer stable and can’t carry their banner into the fall campaign,” Melhorn said Wednesday. “Before recommending another investment at this next stage in the process, however, I need to look at new potential paths to victory given that he didn’t win New Hampshire.”

Metal legend Andy Sabin also expressed doubts on Wednesday about continuing to fund his campaign.
“You have to know when to hold them back. You need to know when to fold it. You need to know when to leave. It’s time for Nikki Haley to go,” Sabin told Fox Business host Neil Cavuto on Wednesday, arguing that there was “absolutely no good for her to go to South Carolina.”
Haley has nearly a dozen fundraisers planned before the Feb. 24 election in her home state.
