Presidential candidate Nikki Haley made a surprise appearance on Saturday Night Live’s cold open — delivering the iconic line “Live from New York” after ripping into her GOP primary rival, Former President Donald Trump.
Pretending to be a “concerned South Carolina voter” at a CNN town hall, Haley asked cast member James Austin Johnson, who plays Trump, “Why don’t you want to debate Nikki Haley?”
“Oh my God, the woman who took care of security on January 6,” Johnson, as Trump, exclaimed, “It’s Nancy Pelosi.”
Haley then quipped: “Are you ok Donald, you might need a mental competency test?”
