Nilu Kohli was born on 15 May 1964 (age 55 years; as in 2019) in Ranchi, Jharkhand. She started her acting career with the TV serial “Bhabhi,” where she played the role of ‘Nanda Chachi.’ Subsequently, she appeared in TV serials like “Piya Ka Ghar Pyara Lage,” “Khushiyan,” “Love U Zindagi,” “Shastri Sisters,” “Jamai Raja,” and “Naamkarann.”
Kohli has also played small roles in films like “Patiala House,” “Gori Tere Pyaar Mein,” “Yeh Mera India,” “Housefull 2,” “Black Home,” “Run,” and “Dil Kya Kare.”
In 2019, she featured in SAB TV’s “Band Baaja Bandh Darwaza,” where she played the role of ‘Sarita Khurana,’ a very sweet and positive person.
