Nirvair Singh (1980-2022) is an Indian singer and taxi driver, who once lived in Melbourne, Australia. On 31 August 2022, he died in a tragic car accident on the Bulla-Diggers Rest Road in Diggers Rest near Melbourne.

Nirvair Singh was born on Saturday, November 3, 1979 (age 42 years; at death) in Kurali, Punjab. He attended Khalsa Senior Secondary School, Kurali, Punjab. He later attended Thapar Institute of Engineering and Technology (formerly Thapar University), Patiala. While in school and college, she used to perform in various singing competitions.

Career
In 2013, Nirvair Singh moved from Punjab to Melbourne to pursue his singing career. There, he started working as a taxi driver and started making songs with his Punjabi friends simultaneously. In the same year, he sang the popular Punjabi song “Tere Bina” from the album “My Turn.’
He sang many Punjabi songs including “Ferrari Dream” (2018), “Je Russgi” (2019), “Hikk Thok Ke” (2019), and “Darda-a-Dil” (2020). Nirvair performed at various national and international singing events.
Death
On August 31, 2022, he was involved in a major car accident on the Bulla-Diggers Rest Road in Diggers Rest, Australia. While he was driving his Kia Sedan, a speeding car lost control and hit a jeep that crossed into his path and crashed into his car. Nirvair died on the spot and other injured people were rushed to a nearby hospital. According to Melbourne West Police,
A car driven erratically collided with two vehicles in the city of Rehat Penggali. Police arrested a man and a woman in the case but no charges have been laid against them, the daily reported. Officers have also asked members of the public to contact them with any leads on the case including dash cams or CCTV footage.”
Nirvair’s friend Gagan Kokri shared the news of Nirvair’s death through his Instagram account.
