NJ woman who berated German tourists spotted at UES apartment as colleague recalls bigoted rant

The New Jersey woman who was filmed “drunk” telling German tourists to go home was seen leaving an Upper East Side apartment building as her former co-workers accused her of making bigoted remarks about their boss.

Brianna Pinnix, 30, emerged from her apartment on a leafy Manhattan street looking fresh-faced and wearing sunglasses on Friday, despite the firestorm surrounding her behavior that left her unemployed days earlier.

Earlier Friday, a former co-worker told the Daily Mail Pinnix was known at work for being “not a good drinker,” and frequently exhibited “aggressive” behavior that mirrored his performance at NJ-Transit.

A recruiter at InterQuest from 2019 to 2022, Pinnix allegedly once called his boss there a “Scottish s–t” during a call, and said he “wished he would be sent home.”

“None of us who worked with him were surprised by this video,” the former colleague said of his latest outburst. “There was aggressive and angry behavior, he was just arrested this time.”

Brianna Pinnix, 30, was seen leaving her Manhattan apartment last week as more reports of xenophobia emerged. Kevin C. Downs for the NY Post Pinnix’s boyfriend tried to restrain her as she yelled at German tourists on an NJ Transit train.

He later posted a series of TikTok videos in which he said the same boss “taunted him,” and accused him of spending almost all of the funds on gift cards he won in a company sweepstakes.

“If someone at my old company sees this, sorry. If someone at my new company sees this, I’m sorry but it needs to be said,” he said in the video.

The former colleague described it as an “HR nightmare.”

“Brianna is not a good drinker, there are always tears and screams when she drinks at work events,” he said.

“It got to the point where he was banned from work social events.”

Pinnix was fired from her job as a recruiter at Capital Rx after a video of the train incident made headlines. Kevin C. Downs for the NY Post One of the tourists stood up to confront Pinnix as he harassed them on the NJ Transit train.

Pinnix appeared drunk when he was filmed confronting a pair of young German tourists who he was convinced had been talking about him.

“What did you say? Tell me what you said,” he demanded in the video.

As she became more aggressive, her boyfriend begged her to back off.

“Brie, Brie, don’t do this, don’t do this, you’ll be arrested,” he said, but Pinnix refused and continued to scold the German.

After returning to his seat for a moment, Pinnix stood up again and yelled at the tourists, “How about you get out of our country!”

Even though the tourists don’t seem to speak English, Pinnix demands that they tell him what they’re saying.

He was fired from his most recent job as a recruiter at Capital Rx when the video went viral.

“Our company has a zero tolerance policy regarding prejudicial or discriminatory behavior. After conducting a review of the situation, we acted immediately and terminated the employee involved,” Capital Rx told The Post in a statement.

“The former employee’s actions and words do not represent Capital Rx, and we offer our sincerest apologies to those who were hurt.”
