As seen in a photo shared by a fan on X, earlier on Twitter, the “Young & Sad” artist shared a photo of herself and Braison at Walmart while the rest of her siblings were at their mom’s party. For their outing, the pair dressed casually, with Noah seeming to take after his mother by rocking a graphic t-shirt with his father’s face on it.
Billy Ray’s not-so-subtle mention at Tish’s wedding didn’t go unnoticed when his followers tweeted, “Noah Cyrus and Braison Cyrus spent the day together at Walmart in LA during Tish’s wedding. Hope Miley, Tish, Brandi, Trace will ignore her wedding too. He also wore a Billy Ray t-shirt to make fun of @tishcyrus’ wedding today.”
Stepping out wearing his dad’s t-shirt wasn’t the only thing Noah scolded his mom for. In his social media updates, the 23-year-old revealed that Braison went to LA to spend time with him. The sisters also enjoyed a good night’s sleep, showing they’d rather be relaxing together than attending Tish’s wedding.
A fan upset by the update wrote in a separate tweet, “Noah Cyrus continues to shade Tish’s wedding by saying Braison Cyrus flew to LA (Tish’s wedding venue) JUST to see Noah, and they took a nap during the wedding night.”

The individual then lamented, “Sisters can’t keep their shade and have to air it publicly on Ig.” More supporters echoed the same sentiment, saying the two’s actions prove something is wrong in the Cyrus family.
“Noah Cyrus and Braison not showing up at Tish’s wedding brag,” one said, while another believed the beef extended to the Disney alum, painting a picture of the siblings at odds.
“Even if they’re not on good terms, I think Miley would still be upset to see this.. Noah is still her older sister, and she might miss him. I feel sorry for Miley,” claimed the social media user. “I didn’t know this family was basically split up & Billy Ray unfollowed Miley a year ago & only claimed the two in the first pic as his kids.. ?,” another fan observed referencing a photo of Noah and Braison.
Instead, some called Noah out for his bad actions and warned the 23-year-old of future consequences, writing “@noahcyrus, you didn’t attend your mom’s wedding, ohhh baby girl, you will regret this, hope Walmart is fun! ”
The announced consequences may arrive sooner than expected, as Tish seems to be hinting at her distance from her youngest child. On her Instagram Story, the newlyweds re-shared a post by their eldest son Trace. In the black-and-white throwback snap, the mother of five posed with her three children —Miley, Brandi and Trace.
Tish captioned this photo with a string of red heart emojis, perhaps saying she’s happy with those who supported her wedding and wasn’t bothered by those who weren’t.
While it’s unclear if the Cyrus family was indeed split up after Billy and Tish split, it’s worth noting that the country singer was the only one to publicly congratulate Noah on his engagement to German boyfriend Pinkus in June.
