The city of San Francisco is coming for Elon Musk and “X” is officially known as Twitter after the company’s new sign appeared without permission.
Elon Musk Can’t Do What He Wants

The entrepreneur is currently focused on building “X” app and making it better than Twitter but, in the process, he seems to be stepping on people. By people, we mean the official city of San Fran.
They have visited the headquarters twice since the sign was installed on Friday. A notice of violation (NOV) was issued for work without a permit. Musk instead is excited about the building and the sign that sits on top of it now.
He tweeted a video of the new building with a newly plastered “X” app sign. “Our headquarters in San Francisco tonight,” he tweeted or is it “x-ed” now? However, he was proud that the sign lit up the sky in the area.
Complaints Notified

The city of San Francisco’s complaint was made public and reads:
“The NOV was issued for work without a permit. Site visited by MH and spoke to Tweeter (sic) representative and Building maintenance engineer representative. I explained the BID complaint investigation process and requested access to the roof area. A Tweeter (sic) representative declined to provide access but explained that the structure was a temporary lighted sign for an event. I explained to all the representatives that the NOV required that the structure be issued with a building permit or legalize.”
The complaint further said that more attempts to access the building on Saturday were made and they remained unsuccessful. A city representative spoke with Washington Post that “to ensure consistency with the historic character of the building and to ensure the new addition is securely attached to the sign,” permits and approvals are required.
Elon Musk is Chargeable

On the city’s website, it states that a violation notice can be accompanied by a fee for a permit and for an investigation. They did not say that Musk would definitely be indicted but they did indicate that it was a possibility.
Musk used the “X” to express his frustration with the drama surrounding the sign. In one tweet he wrote, “He kept calling the police about our sign modification! ?.” He also explained through another Tweet that he could move offices, he has options.

“Many have offered rich incentives for X (fka Twitter) to move its headquarters from San Francisco.
Moreover, the city is in a vicious circle with one company after another leaving or leaving.
Therefore, they expect X to move as well. We will not. You only know who your true friends are when the chips are down. San Francisco, beautiful San Francisco, even if others leave you, we will always be your friends.”

He followed the tweet with one that read, “Blaze Your Glory!!” Meanwhile, Musk said what he said and is currently in Canada on other business ventures. That’s how unperturbed he is.
