Nyra Banerjee is an Indian film and TV actress. He has worked in Telugu, Hindi, Tamil, Malayalam and Kannada entertainment industries. She is best known for playing the role of Raat Rani (Rani Singh Rajput) in Colors TV’s supernatural drama series Pishachini (2023).

Since childhood, she was interested in dancing and singing. He actively participated in extracurricular activities during his school and college days. He learned Hindustani classical music and ghazals from his mother as a child. He studied Kathak for two years but had to give it up because his father, who was in the Indian Navy, was on transferable duty. Growing up, he also recorded children’s songs. He attended Canossa Convent High School, Mumbai. In 2010, he completed his Bachelor of Legal Science & Bachelor of Legal Law (BLS, LLB) at Pravin Gandhi College of Law (PGCL) SVKM. He specializes in Intellectual Property Rights. He started appearing in Telugu films while attending college.

Nyra Banerjee entered the entertainment industry with the Hindi TV show GV Iyer Kadambari, a government project that released 36 episodes. He also acted in a TV serial by K. Balachander. By the time she was in 12th grade, Nyra took a part-time job as a TV host. In 2019, she played the lead role of Divya in the supernatural drama TV series Divya Drishti on Star Plus.

In 2020, he starred in the comedy TV series Excuse Me Maadam as Mithu aka “Maadam,” Sanam’s boss in Star Bharat. - Her hobbies are singing and dancing.
- Famous director GV Iyer saw her while she was singing in the recording studio. After that, he signed her in her Hindi TV series Kadambari. Nyra started receiving film proposals when she was in Class 11. GV Iyer had plans to cast her as Sita and Sanjay Dutt as Rama in a film adaptation of the Hindu epic Ramayana. Unfortunately, the project never took off due to Iyer’s death. It may mark Nyra’s debut in Hindi cinema.
