Since childhood, she was interested in dancing and singing. He actively participated in extracurricular activities during his school and college days. Nyra Banerjee entered the entertainment industry with the Hindi TV show GV Iyer Kadambari, a government project that released 36 episodes. He also acted in a TV serial by K. Balachander.
