- In May 2019, Nysa was harassed for going to a salon, a day after her grandfather, Veeru Devgan passed away on 27 May 2019. In response to the trolls, Ajay Devgn said-
They (trolls) really don’t know what’s going on. I’ll give you an example, I’ve never talked about this. When I lost my father, the second day, the children were very upset. Nysa cried all day and people were at home, there were many people. I told him you go, there will be mood swings. They are here, we handle people, we do it. You just go out. He didn’t know where to go, he left and went to a salon. I said go wash your hair or something. They have clicked pictures of her entering the living room and they have tricked her. ‘Grandpa just died and he’s in the living room’. What are their rights? I sent her to make her feel better, she was traumatized. What right do they have to say that? It’s ridiculous.”

he [Nysa] only 14 years old and I think, sometimes, people forget that and talk trash. He wears such a long shirt and he also wears shorts. Now because the shirt is long, the shorts don’t show and the kid gets trolled for that.”
