Rapper Offset recently talked about juggling his duties as a father with his work schedule. The artist is a father of five children; the two youngest are from his marriage to his wife Cardi B, while the three oldest are from past relationships.
In an interview in recognition of the recent Doritos partnership, the former Migos rapper talked about how he juggles fatherhood with his busy work schedule.
Offset revealed that he always put his children first and did so to provide “structure” for them growing up. He also mentioned how lucky he is to have a wife who treats all her children like her own.

Offset joins People’s Magazine in a recent interview and talked about how important his role is as a father to his five children. She explained that she makes sure she always makes them a priority and spends as much time as she can with them, despite her busy schedule.

The 30-year-old said, “Being a father is important to me personally. Like, there’s a big party on Saturday, right? In Los Angeles. And my son Kody’s first football game is on Sunday. There’s no way I’m going to miss it.” -any event, so I have to make it work. It’s my priority.”
In addition to his two children with wife Cardi B, 12-month-old Wave Set, and Kulture Kiari, their four-year-old daughter, Offset has three other older children from previous relationships. The oldest children are 12-year-old Jordan and seven-year-old Kalea and Kody.

Offset Says He Wants His Kids To Have Structure
Later in the interview, the former Migos rapper explained how she made sure her kids had structure growing up. Offset said, “I don’t play into that because I know they’re growing up.”

He continued, “And it’s great to be a dad who’s an artist and all that, but when you get older, and you start thinking about things, all my kids [going to be] like, ‘Dang, my dad balances all that, and he gets to take care of me, teach me things, help me walk, help me say my first words [and was] still on tour.”
The “Open It Up” rapper added, “That’s my biggest thing; I don’t want my kids to have everything in the world and then have no structure coming because I was never there to give them structure.”

Offset Says He’s Lucky Cardi Welcomes Her Kids
Offset and Cardi B’s youngest child, Wave, recently turned one, and the couple commemorated the event with a birthday party. All five children of the artist were invited to the ceremony and attended. According to Offset, everyone present didn’t have to think twice.

In conjunction with the youngest child’s birthday celebration, the family of seven was seen wearing their denim and white glory in Cardi B’s Instagram post made a week ago. Offset’s youngest and three oldest children wore matching denim outfits. The rapper captioned the post, “My HEARTS.”

Offset also posted to celebrate his one-year birthday. He shared some pictures of the two of them as well as a throwback video of the father and son. The post was captioned, “BIG WAVE I TURNED 1 YEAR TODAY I LOVE YOU BIG MAN.”
Cardi B also posted a clip on her Instagram story showing how the birthday boy entered the party. The event was a racecar-themed party, and Wave’s entrance matched that as the one-year-old stepped into, or rather, into, a remote control truck. The puzzling gift was reportedly given to her by Hennessy Carolina, Cardi’s sister. Offset takes control of the truck and guides Wave to his other siblings.
