Olivia Rodrigo will soon spill her ‘guts’ on her second album!
The 20-year-old’s highly-anticipated sophomore album was revealed earlier this summer after fans discovered the “License to Drive” singer may have been hiding hints related to the new LP on Instagram. It turns out that Rodrigo’s loyal fans were right when he announced that “GUTS” will be released in early September soon!

The Disney darling set the tone for “GUTS” with the music video for the album’s first single by channeling some “Twilight” vibes; Rodrigo gave his followers a little glimpse into his past by posting a throwback photo honoring his love for the franchise!
Rodrigo continues to reveal the mood aesthetic of the album. On Tuesday morning, he posted a reel to his Instagram featuring the full tracklist for “GUTS” channeling an aesthetic favorite: the dreamy teenage bedroom aesthetic!

Listeners may already know that Rodrigo is a fan of colorful and vintage-inspired aesthetics. Appearances for her debut album due out in 2021- inspired by the back-to-school vibe, including a more horrifying one! Photos from the “sour” photoshoot of “Carrie” (1976) and the front cover for Hole’s seminal album “Live Through This” (1994).
Looking at a recent photo posted to Rodrigo’s Instagram, he seems to be getting his love for purple back! His first photo revealing his “vampire” look shows off a black-and-white look, with the only pop of color being a lavender band-aid around his neck!
He also brings all the party vibes! In one of his latest pictures, Rodrigo celebrates the success of “vampire” by posing with red, purple and gold balloons that match his sweater, making us wonder if this will be the main color scheme of the album!

On Monday, Rodrigo gave his Insta followers a giant hint about the mood of the album! Rodrigo posted a reel where he raved about his bedroom, which was decorated in purple! The bed is decorated in a purple and white color scheme as is the furniture.
The star of the show, however, is the attractive typewriter. Viewers will see the reels zoom in to reveal certain keys contain purple sequences, spelling out the record’s title. However, the piece of paper Rodrigo was working on was blank except for the title: “GUTS playlist.”
The pop princess didn’t stop her fans from waiting a long time; the “vampire” singer will post the full tracklist the next day!
After flashes of Rodrigo typing and appearing to arrange an envelope on his bed containing the mysterious text, and a close-up of the book’s spine on his bookshelf, fans were treated to excerpts of the album’s 12 track titles!

According to a close-up of the piece of paper, “GUTS” will not only contain 12 songs, but will have songs related to the aforementioned back-to-school atmosphere we’ve seen so far!
Track titles that can be seen include “all american b**ch,” “bad idea, right?,” “lacy,” “homeschool girl ballad,” “make the bed,” “logic,” “bring her back,” ” love is a shame,” “revenge,” “pretty isn’t pretty,” and “teenage dreams.” Reels are also tracks tracked by currently unknown new track snippets, too!
Rodrigo captioned the reel by reminding listeners of the release date: September 8th!
