Olivia Wilde is unhappy with her ex Jason Sudeikis for prolonging their custody battle. The two have been fighting over where their children, Daisy and Otis, live since 2022.
During this time, Sudeikis has used various legal tactics to move the custody battle to New York and has been rejected by the courts twice.
Wilde believed that the actress had acted with “malicious intent” and that her “deception” was not in the best interests of their children.

The first took place in August 2022, and another on Thursday, overturning an appeal he filed after the initial loss.
Before the ruling, Sudeikis had also filed a “Request for an Order” to uphold the “California Parentage” ruling that said the children should live in California, where Wilde lives.
The protracted custody battle did not go well with Wilde, as he felt the “We’re the Millers” cast was trying to “persuade him into debt.”
“While Jason was able to spin his wheels with filing after filing, Olivia could not,” her attorney filed in court papers obtained by Daily Mail. “Jason seems intent on throwing anything he can at the wall to see what will stick.”

It’s unclear whether Sudeikis will file another lawsuit so soon after his latest loss to Wilde, per TMZ.
Meanwhile, Wilde’s lawyer has insisted that it is unfair that the comedian has charged the actress high legal fees but claims “she should be deprived of her right to a need-based fee contribution from him.”
It is also mentioned that the star of “Lazarus Effect” is “aware that [Sudeikis] a lot richer than him” and apparently upset that his financial strength would allow him to prolong the custody battle over where their children should live.
He thinks the kids should stay in California because they don’t have deep ties to New York, which is Sudeikis’ home base.
In support of her claim, the actress said that Daisy never received an education in the Big Apple, while Otis only had one semester of kindergarten there.

In addition to being upset about paying more legal fees, Wilde believes her ex acted in “bad faith” regarding her legal tactics.
“We are scheduled to begin working with family therapists in California in mid-January. I think things have calmed down and will move forward in a more friendly and respectful manner,” he said.
“On the contrary, I learned on January 10, 2023, that throughout my time negotiating the parenting schedule in California, [Jason] is planning to continue Child Support New York behind me.”
The actress stated that she could not attend the first appearance on January 4, 2023, because she did not inform him or her lawyer. She also stated that she was “absolutely baffled” by the man’s “manipulation”, which she believed was not in the best interests of their children.
