Wilde did take the time to thank lesser-known workers on the film such as stuntmen and assistants and others but he didn’t call the actors by name as Harry Styles and Florence Pugh’s exes are now rumored to be doing.

The film flopped and fans speculated that it was because Wilde and Styles had an on-set affair. Pugh stopped appearing for events related to the film and Styles and Chris Pine, another co-star, did not get along.
There was even an incident during the promotion where it looked like Harry spat on Chris. The whole situation rubbed moviegoers the wrong way. Plus, Harry’s fans are hard-working and they aren’t happy that Wilde is dating their man.
Pugh was allegedly disgusted by Wilde’s unprofessionalism in dating an actress especially since he was a director, someone in power. None of this drama has ever been confirmed but you just have to watch the clips and the body language during the promo. It speaks volumes.
