Olivia Wilde’s Ex-Nanny Says She Was Allegedly Forced To Take On Mom Duties Amid Harry Styles Romance

Olivia Wilde and Jason Sudeikis have a lawsuit on their hands.

The former couple, who share two children together, are being sued by their former nanny.

These are the same nannies who aired their dirty laundry during Wilde’s romance with Harry Styles.

In a legal document obtained by Explosion, the nanny, Ericka Genaro, sued Sudeikis and Wilde for (basically) giving her too much homework. He worked for the couple from 2018 to 2021.

The former couple’s split was highly controversial given her relationship with Styles shortly after their split.

Many believe he cheated on Sudeikis with the former One Direction singer while they were filming “Don’t Worry Darling.”

Wilde has denied the allegations and admitted her relationship with the “Ted Lasso” star ended long before production on the film began.

Genaro claims his nanny duties turned out to be more than what he first signed up for.

According to Genaro, Wilde left the household in 2020 when she started dating Styles.

Instead, the nanny claims a lot of pressure was put on her to fill Wilde’s role as a mother.

Genaro also claimed he had to be a shoulder for Sudeikis to cry on. He reportedly had to stay well past check-out for her to vent and talk about their situation.

He said this caused him a lot of stress and anxiety which became debilitating.

Wilde’s busy work and personal schedule kept him away from home and his children, so Genaro said his work duties began to take on more interest.

Genaro claims that she basically worked full-time for Wilde and Sudeikis, and also acted as a surrogate mother for the actress.

She felt she had to choose between Wilde and Sudeikis, which led to increased tension between the former couple and within the household.

It all became a burden for Genaro until a medical professional advised him to stop working immediately. This caused him to rest for three days.

Unfortunately, Sudeikis allegedly disregarded this and fired him on the spot. Genaro alleges wrongful termination and claims the A-list actress violated several California employment laws.

He sought damages under the FEHA.

Wilde and Sudeikis released a joint statement about Genaro in October 2022.

“As parents, it is heartbreaking to learn that a former nanny of our two young children would choose to publicly make false and vile accusations against us,” the statement said. “His now 18-month campaign of harassment for us, as well as our loved ones, close friends and colleagues, has reached its unfortunate climax. We will continue to focus on raising and protecting our children in the sincere hope that he will now choose to leave our family alone.”

According to sources close to Wilde and Sudeikis, the nanny has a pattern of trying to gain fame and fortune with her words, and this is just another attempt to get a big payday.

Regardless, their breakup was bad.

Sudeikis presented Wilde’s custodial paper as he presented at CinemaCon.

Back in April 2022, Wilde took the stage at the event to promote ‘DWD.’

According to Sudeikis, his breakup with Wilde was unexpected and very difficult. He hit “rock bottom” after the breakup.

The “Horrible Bosses” actress and Wilde were together for seven years before splitting in November 2020.

By January 2021, Wilde had made headlines for a new relationship with Styles.

“It’s my workplace,” Wilde explained during a Diversity interview. “In any other workplace, it would be seen as an attack. It’s really annoying. It should never happen. There is a huge breach in security, which is really scary.”

Wilde believes there was some thought put into the “attack,” which directly contradicts Sudeikis’ claim that she “didn’t know” her ex would be given custody papers at CinemaCon.

A source disclosed to Hollywood Reporter, “Mr. Sudeikis has no prior knowledge of the time or place that the envelope will be sent, as this is solely up to the process service company involved, and he will never forgive him for being treated in such an inappropriate manner.”

Wilde called BS!

“The hurdles you have to go through to get into that room with some badges, as well as the special COVID test that needs to be taken a few days in advance, which gives you the wristband needed to gain access to the event — it’s something that needs to be thought out in advance,” admits the actress. “I hate that this evil deed distracts from the work of so many different people and the studios I represent up there. To try to sabotage the really violent. But I have a job to do; I am not easily distracted. But, you know, sadly, it’s not something that surprises me. I mean, there was a reason I left the relationship.”
