While studying in college, Kulkarni joined the Mithibai Drama Team. In 2013, he made his debut as a professional theater artist by performing in a play at the youth theater festival and organization ‘Thespo.’ In 2014, he performed in the drama ‘The EQ,’ written by Amatya Gordia.
